MyMeetings User Agreement

Effective Date: The date you receive your username and password to use MyMeetings.

Welcome to MyMeetings, a web application owned by MyCorgov and designed to help you schedule, manage, and regulate board and committee meetings. By accessing or using MyMeetings ("the Service"), you ("User") agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Agreement"). If you do not agree with this Agreement, you must refrain from using the Service.

1. Account Registration and User Responsibilities

  • To use MyMeetings, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Users agree to use MyMeetings solely for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable local, state, and national laws.

2. Access to the Service

MyMeetings grants Users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service solely for its intended purpose, which includes scheduling and managing meetings, storing meeting documentation, and facilitating communication between board members and committee participants.

Users agree to not misuse or interfere with the functionality of MyMeetings, including but not limited to attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.

3. Use of Meeting Features

  • MyMeetings allows Users to create, schedule, and manage board and committee meetings.
  • Users are responsible for ensuring that all meeting details, including dates, times, attendees, and documents, are accurate and appropriately shared with participants.
  • Users agree to respect the privacy and confidentiality of all meeting materials shared within the Service. It is prohibited to distribute, share, or use meeting content for any unauthorized purposes.

4. Data Privacy and Security

MyMeetings takes reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality and security of Users' data. However, Users acknowledge that no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and MyMeetings cannot guarantee absolute security.

By using the Service, Users consent to the collection and use of their personal data in accordance with the MyMeetings Privacy Policy.

5. Restrictions

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Upload, post, or share harmful content, including malware or viruses.
  • Engage in disruptive or abusive behavior that could harm other users or the functionality of the Service.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or decompile the Service or attempt unauthorized access to the underlying code.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights, including but not limited to trademarks, logos, software, and content, are the property of MyCorgov or its licensors. Users are granted no rights to such intellectual property beyond the right to use the Service in accordance with this Agreement.

7. Payment and Subscription

Some features of MyMeetings may require a paid subscription. Users will be notified of pricing and payment terms prior to subscription activation.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or related to this Agreement will be resolved through binding arbitration in London, England.
